Are You Holding on Or Letting Go?

There comes a time when we have to face the reality, and in most cases, the reality don't necessarily come from our own experiences but also from others. To be honest,i don't have much experience in relationship stuff. But i have been entangled in the relationship web though(if you understand what i'm saying). It feels nice to be loved and love back, and for it to to be recognized,it has to be mutual.I'm not a love doctor, but love is like going into a river when you dont know how deep it is.when it's shallow, you might go down and break your neck, and when it's deep......that's how love is.you never know what will happen next.

At every instant in your life you are either expanding to Embrace Growth or Contracting to hold on and protect. What are you protecting?

Love and fear are opposite sides of the same vibration.

Love is not the absence of fear but Courage is the expansion of Love into fear.

Bringing light to the darkness and freedom from attachment is what letting go is all about.

Letting go of the past is an act of power not weakness.

Freedom is found in Forgiveness not Tolerance.

Completing Unfinished Business is really the art of Releasing.

If not you, Who? If not now, When?

Why not start now by planting new seeds of love in your relationships?

Embracing Growth is allowing the light of new ideas, friendships and practices to move through your life. It's about releasing and refreshing the areas where you may have been stuck or caught up in self limiting beliefs.

When it comes to love and relationships you can either be RIGHT or be HAPPY.

While that may seem like an obvious choice, most people would rather lose their loved ones, their house, health, vitality and financial stability than to admit they might be wrong. Or said more powerfully: take responsibility for their part in the relationship.

They move from one failed relationship to the next like a train wreck looking for a place to happen. Hoping for a new beginning while dragging the unfinished business from past relationships into the next.

Completing Unfinished Business is a powerful and simple technology to complete your past and create a meaningful Future.

If your relationships seem to revolve around the same old issues, there has never been a better time than now to get it complete. Resolve your Addictive patterns now and get on with a fulfilling LIFE!COME ON PEOPLE..LET'S LOVE AND BE LOVED..

Quote of the day

"who is but the sword in the hand of him who uses it, is not himself responsible for the death he deals." Those who act according to a divine command, or even God's laws as enacted by the state and who put wicked men to death “have by no means violated the commandment, 'Thou shalt not kill.’”

Why stereotype?

Is lumping people into one category stereotyping and politically incorrect? why is it wrong to stereotype groups of people?because it's wrong.sometimes, some things are just inevitable though, they show the animal instinct in us.That's just the way live goes.
Stereotyping is more an issue of prejudice -- which is like a sickness that grows in the individual who does not know how to process information properly and draws the wrong conclusions, leading to hatred of ALL people of a given trait. And that's dead WRONG.
It normally hurts to be categorized based on the physical and behavioral characteristics we posses, especially when we are innocent. However, by looking at some of the characteristics and behavioral traits, most of the secret agents are able to come up with idea on who is likely to have committed a crime, though in most cases some of their profiles of suspects seems to hold no waters. As the old adage goes"you can not take a tree for a forest" for instance, not all middle-Eastern men are suicide bombers(but, the majority of suicide bombing has been performed by middle eastern men)and this has led to a heavy scrutiny for these group of men-especially when boarding an airplane.
On the other side of the coin, profiling according to stereotypes is really relying on statistics. It's not singling out any one individual, but it is singling out a particular trait of an individual. Understandably, this is a touchy subject. But, to get anywhere in the process of crime prevention, profiling is sometimes a sad neccessity. Nobody like it. But, it is for the overall protection of society.
Sometimes, stereotyping is a safeguard that we use even to teach our children who to trust and who not trust. It is engrained in our humanity mentality-and maybe for our own protection. However, that is NOT to say that all stereotyping is good. Much of it IS bad. That's usually the case when we carry it too far or lump ALL individuals of a certain category into a pile; or if we are choosing the WRONG variables or characteristics to use as tags
Stereotyping has a place in society(may be). But, like anything else, it has to be used correctly; to relate correctly the dependent and independent variables; and to understand that it does NOT imply that ALL members of a group can be pegged accordingly. In other words, it needs to be backed up by statistics, not by personal likes or dislikes
However the Authority and the society as a whole should identify the ease in which they are handing out the basic values.

BE CAUTIOUS OF WHAT YOU POST ON FACEBOOK

The reason why i chose facebook is that, it has more users than all the world’s major dating sites combined,. It has the potential to become people’s home page.
Where postcards, letters, phone calls, e-mails and meetings were once normal methods of communication, Facebook and its competitors have become individuals’ own personal town criers, exchanging tittle-tattle, news, ideas, invitations, dates, business and social interaction with virtually unlimited audiences on the web.
The more excitable prophets say that social networks are changing our lives for ever, for better and for worse. We are in the throes of a social revolution that is evolving so rapidly, few can predict either its impact beyond the next few months, or the fallout
Whatever you post on the facebook and in other social networks will in one day affect your job.
Famous faces, have found themselves embarrassed by social networks. Hugh Grant was photographed cuddling up to a bunch of attractive female students, and someone posted them on Facebook; it naturally made the tabloids.
We don’t consider that things we paste up online are there for ever, relics that will never go away. If you’re pissed at a party, passed out in a pool of vomit, that’s an image that will forever reside somewhere.

We, as users, should learn better how to conduct ourselves. Social networks will find a balance between being invasive and being helpful.

however as i always say,i'm not a pessimist, social networks have unleashed a storm of creativity, entrepreneurialism, commercial thinking and social thinking.Lets all be reponsible for our own actions!!!!

IS WORLD GETTING PRIORITIES RIGHT

It’s good to embrace the height of the modern technology, it has helped a great deal in medical research, communication, covers most of the world’s science.I am not a pessimist and in no way would I want to downplay the benefits of technology, as a matter of fact I wonder how the world would be without modern technology. My big resentment is that why do rich countries spend enormous amount of money in space exploration, while there is a lot of misery in the world. my question is, is it value for money, are there scientific significance in relation to local and immediate problems? Drivers of technology, however comes from a need, and the biggest needs we have are, climatic change, global food and energy crisis(as a result of a global economic slowdown), and diseases(like malaria that can be eradicated with a dose of investment, millions of HIV positive without enough money to pay for ant iretroviral drugs). Is it a good investment for the world while there are a lot of expenditure that require immediate attention? It will be however a mistake to talk about space exploration in general in relation to the issue of finances, manned space operations consumes a lot of money more than the unmanned operations(like the recent mission to mass)the later seems to hold more importance than the former in terms of basic research like the satellite that explore the universe;-measure the nature of the universe, and relatively less expensive, should governments resort to unmanned operations entirely and channel the money for manned operations to other expenditure of the world? or do we have a choice of not doing it at all and concentrate on local and immediate problems? some will say, a lot of money was spent on Iraq war, on war on drugs and on foreign aid to finance weapons, so what’s the problem in investing in advance technology…Whats your take on this….remember..OUR FUTURE ENTIRELY DEPENDS ON THE DECISIONS WE MAKE NOW.

Why do women think that men are dogs?

And also conclude that Men are not trustworthy.. but.. women say dogs are trustworthy.. so if we are not trustworthy, how can we be dogs?

WHY MEN PHILANDERS (CHEAT MORE THAN WOMEN)

This idea never occurred to me until recently when a female friend asked me why men always have affairs more than their partners(girlfriends/spouses) even though they are in a relationship. The first thing that came to my mind though was....you rather ask a relationship-psychologist. However on the second thought it was worth trying. I therefore embarked on a mission of fact finding, asking a number of male friends(not like in a formal survey)the same question. I got a bunch of responses though. The reason why men (married and unmarried)cheat on women may sometimes involve simply an ego based decision and sometimes it may relate to a bad relationship, and even lack of it.
If a man has a disinterested partner there is a good chance he will have an affair;men will sometimes cheat to get a way from an argumentative partner;some men get tired of having steak for dinner every night and want to try a humburger. That’s why men don’t necessarily always cheat with women who are more attractive than their partners. The other aspect is that when a couple do not have as much in common as they thought, and finally meets a female who shares the same interests he may check out if he is more comfortable with her under the sheets. Here is the bomb.... If you have forgiven a cheating partner a couple of times, they are more than likely going to cheat again because they already know if they plead enough, you will forgive them.
Anyway, the reason why men cheat can be more complex than the ones mentioned above or even be a different combinations of reasons.Nevertheless, no reason is good enough reason to lie and be dishonest.

STOP FEELING JEALOUS AND APPRECIATE WHAT YOU HAVE

This is one topic i have been trying to avoid for a long time, but i think it is a high time i wrote something about it.Jealousy is a feeling just like fear or anger.Though not all people are jealous.some people are jealous because they dont have things or anything what they wish what you have...simple.The more somebody gets mature in day to day affair, prosperity follows.Generally if you have worked hard in order to prosper and the prosperity follows, you are likely not to be jealous. Moreover those who avoid working and or putting more effort are the most jealous ones. However there are some frustrated elements who pretend having put there best and always complain about others faster growth.Infact, jealousy like other emotions doesnt come from nowhere, it comes from a feeling that someone needs aren't met or someone feels threatened.People who don't feel threatened don't feel jealous.
So. the question is, why are you jealous? Jealousy is an unusual emotion, in that it's a feeling that's often built out of other feelings, such as fear or anger or insecurity. What is it that triggers the jealousy, and more important, why? When you think about the things that cause you to feel jealous, what's the first emotional reaction that flashes through your head--fear? Anger? Sadness? Rejection? Loss? What underlies those feelings--fear of loss ? Fear of being insufficient? Anger at someone else moving in on your territory? All of these? None of these?
Your true self can be known only by systematic experimentation, and controlled only by being known. I believe that emotions, though they are not rational, do usually have a reason behind them--they are the ancient part of your brain, the part that does not have language, trying to communicate with you.If you are a jealous person out there, know that you are a looser and you dont appreciate what you are given in life. It's immature and childish."Grow up"

"Who lives by the sword dies by the sword"

This cliche seems hypothetical to me, however, recently a friend of mine told me that whoever invented this words was a "genius".My last post was on irrational(phobia) fear and i promised i will talk more on the rational fear we always experience.Personally i am hydrophobic(fear of water), some people are claustrophobic(fear of closed space),others are ailurophobic (fear of cats) the list is long, infact psychologists nowadays tend to use just the word phobia for fear, since very few people nowadays study Greek. Anyway, to come back to my friend's presumptuous allegations, 'to say so',i find the word quite irrelevant sometimes.People have different fears as i just mentioned some above, but this case seems peculiar to me:-i finally found that this same friend of mine is afraid to drive because he believes that drivers have a high probability of dying on the road than just the passengers(who lives by the sword dies by the sword),he further gave me an example that those possessing guns are more likely to die than those without(i think the opposite is true) i still have to know the source of his statistics.may be psychologists should one more time come with the proper word for this kind of fear.I tend to think that the correlation between risking your life and getting away with it is quite ambiguous, just like saying that people who do jobs they have a passion for excel(Gets rich).Anyway let's leave that for a debate. Why actually should somebody fear a coachroach and not a lion. This is one of life's mysteries, for real. What's your take on this?

What's you Rational fear?

That's one hell of a question you may have to answer. However, i would like to shed some light on the unreasoning fear in countries in the western world. This fear makes us look foolish and sometimes, deadly decisions when we deal with risks. There are dangers in these irrational fear,an example is the uncle sam's(US) response to September 11 attack.
The diference in safety between driving and flying is quite enormous, flying is remotely safer than driving.During post September 11, most Americans fled the airports and since they needed to go around, they started driving instead and generally when you have millions of people that increases the risk of something, you can imagine the consequences(dire):This shift from the airport to the roads resulted in the loss of many lives on the road.
Clearly, the brains we are using to try to grapple with this radically changed information environment were shaped in the Stone Age, so there's a radical mismatch between our intuitive systems for understanding risks and the world as it exists today.Ask yourself this: before these last few decades, what sort of information environment do people live in?One of the toughest issues is whether people are irrationally afraid or if there are simply different fears.
If you look at Western countries, you will find in country after country -are our parents worried about their children being snatched by strangers?I suspect they are. Are they allowing them to play less outdoors unsupervised? I suspect they are. Do they put them in cars and drive them to school because they're afraid that they'll be abducted by strangers? I suspect they are.And why is that? I think it's because of this information environment.
I have just realised i should have used a different title may be"West faces an epidemic of irrational fear",unfortunately i can't undo the title. So guys i guese my next post will be on Rational fear.

Would you change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you knew that you would die today
Saw the face of God and love
Would you change?

If you knew that love can break your heart
When you're down so low that you cannot fall
Would you change?

How bad, how good, does it need to get?
How many losses? how much regret?
What chain reaction would cause an effect?
Makes you turn around
Makes you try to explain
Makes you forgive and forget,
Makes you change

If you knew that you would be alone
Knowing right, being wrong,
Would you change?

If you knew that you would find a truth
That would bring a pain that can't be soothed
Would you change?

Are you so upright
You can't be bent
If it comes to blows
Are you so sure you won't be crawling
If not for the good why risk falling

If everything you think you know
Makes your life unbearable
Would you change?

If you'd broken every rule and vow
And hard times come to bring you down
Would you change???????????

Penis theft panic hits city..

KINSHASA (Reuters) - Police in Congo have arrested 13 suspected sorcerers accused of using black magic to steal or shrink men's penises after a wave of panic and attempted lynchings triggered by the alleged witchcraft.

Reports of so-called penis snatching are not uncommon in West Africa, where belief in traditional religions and witchcraft remains widespread, and where ritual killings to obtain blood or body parts still occur.

Rumors of penis theft began circulating last week in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo's sprawling capital of some 8 million inhabitants. They quickly dominated radio call-in shows, with listeners advised to beware of fellow passengers in communal taxis wearing gold rings.

Purported victims, 14 of whom were also detained by police, claimed that sorcerers simply touched them to make their genitals shrink or disappear, in what some residents said was an attempt to extort cash with the promise of a cure.

See through scanner

Follow the link for full story

Travellers at two US airports will soon be searched by new high-tech scanners. International airports in Los Angeles and New York have installed digital body scanners that can ‘see through’ clothing. The new machines will mainly search for weapons and explosives. They use the very latest technology, called millimeter wave imaging. Radio waves create a 3-D image of someone’s body to see if they are concealing anything dangerous. Government officials say the new equipment will make air travel safer. A spokesperson said: “Imaging devices are not a brand new security tool, but they are a brand new security tool for airports.” There are plans to install the devices in another 30 airports across the country. An official promised that passengers will prefer the scanner to a security guard patting their body.

Life...life..life.....

"The paradox of our time in history is that... we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints, We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less, We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes, but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. Remember, spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent. Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak, and give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away'

Conflict

It's amazing how human beings share some of the life's mysteries with the animal species or should i say we have animal instinct?Animals always will kill other animals due to competition for scarce food in the jungle if not for their metabolic process."scarcity" can be a big source of conflict though, in that with the equality of ability arises equality of hope in the attaining of our ends, and therefore if any two persons desire the same thing, which never the less both of them cannot enjoy, they become enemies; and in their way to their end(which is principally their own conservation and sometimes their delectation only) endevour to destiny or subdue one another, at the same time may result into competition , for gains and diffidence for security.

Life is full of mystery

Hallo everyone and wellcome to my personal blog life is full of mystery.Something struck me one day when i happened to be in a a right place at the right time.I happened to be in the company of drunkards while i was in a sobriety statei was wondering , why the behaviour of people who have consumed alcohol and are in a state of being drunk are no less different from mad people. When people are drunk, they tend to express their passsions in uncontrollable manner. Some have rage, others show love, others over excitement, they all do this extravagantly, but according to their several domineering passions, for the effect of the alcohol does not remove dissimulations and take from them the sight of deformity of their passions. For i believe, the most sober person when they walk alone without care and employment of the mind would be unwilling the vanity and extravagance of their thoughts at that time should be publicly seen. Probably there is a scientific explanation of this correlation.
