See through scanner

Follow the link for full story

Travellers at two US airports will soon be searched by new high-tech scanners. International airports in Los Angeles and New York have installed digital body scanners that can ‘see through’ clothing. The new machines will mainly search for weapons and explosives. They use the very latest technology, called millimeter wave imaging. Radio waves create a 3-D image of someone’s body to see if they are concealing anything dangerous. Government officials say the new equipment will make air travel safer. A spokesperson said: “Imaging devices are not a brand new security tool, but they are a brand new security tool for airports.” There are plans to install the devices in another 30 airports across the country. An official promised that passengers will prefer the scanner to a security guard patting their body.

Life...life..life.....

"The paradox of our time in history is that... we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints, We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less, We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes, but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. Remember, spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent. Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak, and give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away'

Conflict

It's amazing how human beings share some of the life's mysteries with the animal species or should i say we have animal instinct?Animals always will kill other animals due to competition for scarce food in the jungle if not for their metabolic process."scarcity" can be a big source of conflict though, in that with the equality of ability arises equality of hope in the attaining of our ends, and therefore if any two persons desire the same thing, which never the less both of them cannot enjoy, they become enemies; and in their way to their end(which is principally their own conservation and sometimes their delectation only) endevour to destiny or subdue one another, at the same time may result into competition , for gains and diffidence for security.

Life is full of mystery

Hallo everyone and wellcome to my personal blog life is full of mystery.Something struck me one day when i happened to be in a a right place at the right time.I happened to be in the company of drunkards while i was in a sobriety statei was wondering , why the behaviour of people who have consumed alcohol and are in a state of being drunk are no less different from mad people. When people are drunk, they tend to express their passsions in uncontrollable manner. Some have rage, others show love, others over excitement, they all do this extravagantly, but according to their several domineering passions, for the effect of the alcohol does not remove dissimulations and take from them the sight of deformity of their passions. For i believe, the most sober person when they walk alone without care and employment of the mind would be unwilling the vanity and extravagance of their thoughts at that time should be publicly seen. Probably there is a scientific explanation of this correlation.
